Grace Worldwide is actively funding three ongoing projects in the small West African country of Liberia.
We’re proud to have partnered with Pastor Emmanuel Schneider, a respected church leader in Buchanan, Liberia, to bring life-saving healthcare to an underserved region. Together, we’ve built the Better Way Health Center, a beacon of hope for thousands.
Now fully constructed, the Better Way Health Center stands ready to serve a local population of over 20,000 people, most of whom have lived with little or no access to essential medical care. In this region, the health challenges are many, and the support systems are few.
Founder of Grace Worldwide Marty Owens and her team visited Liberia again in May to view the completed Government approved Clinic. The clinic now has reliable electricity from a generator, a new well and four additional bathrooms.During the visit the team unpacked medical supplies and a donated Starlink to enable better communication for the Medical Centre and surrounding areas of Buchanan as the internet is intermittent and unreliable.

Our second project in Liberia focuses on the continued support of a one-of-a-kind primary school in Saclepea. As the first school of its kind in the country, it provides students with a strong foundation in both academics and spiritual development. Remarkably, it also opens doors for children with disabilities to receive an education they might not otherwise have access to. This is a deeply needed and impactful area of ministry.
Construction of the school was completed in 2026. Many donated items including school supplies, sports equipment and shoes were distributed to the school children when Founder of Grace Worldwide Marty Owens and her team visited again in May. Marty’s granddaughter Martha organised a generous donation from North Hall High School in Gainesville Georgia. 200 pairs of shoes were donated. Martha organised this when she learnt that the children could not attend school without a pair of shoes.

Grace Worldwide’s latest outreach in Liberia is supporting the construction of a school. The need for quality education in Liberia cannot be overemphasized. The vision is for a high school; however, at this initial stage, we will focus on elementary to junior high from First–Ninth Grade in Monrovia.
This will provide students with a solid spiritual foundation, along with quality academic instruction. In a country where 15 to 20 percent of children aged 6 to 14 are out of school, this project will be a crucial step toward changing the future for hundreds of young learners. We are striving for excellence. The school, in addition to the approved national curriculum, will prepare students for the real world by teaching them:
